About BCFM
The BCFM is a registered non-profit organization which has been operating since 1975. We are a member run organization consisting of all vendor members, one paid staff member, and a volunteer Board of Directors. It is the goal of the BCFM to provide Lloydminster and area farmers, crafters, artists, homemade food producers and home based businesses a venue in which to offer their products for sale, access to new customers and opportunities to network with other vendors. We strive, at all times to provide an atmosphere that is friendly and welcoming for all our members, as well as information and support to help you grow your business and be successful.
The BCFM operates under the supervision of the Saskatchewan Department of Justice. We and our members must adhere to all local, provincial & federal laws and regulations. It is the responsibility of each home based business consultant to ensure they are adhering to the rules and regulations of their organization with regards to selling at a farmer’s market. As a member, your business is provided with a business licence for all weekly markets, special markets and events, as well as regular radio and social media advertising. The BCFM operates year round (see attached calendar for dates and times) from the Servus Sports Center in Lloydminster, Alberta.
